GeoCircle

GeoCircle

2014

High School students integrate math and art by plotting points to create the geocircles on the front lawn of the campus.

The GeoCircle is a spatio-temporal data type, a region enclosed by a boundary that is the locus of all points equidistant from a specified center point. A GeoCircle includes both its boundary and interior region. It is defined by the latitude and longitude coordinates of its center point and the length of its radius. The radius must be greater than 0 and is measured as a distance along a geodesic.
